Volunteer needs during the coronavirus outbreak
As you may know, Family Housing Network is classified as an Essential Critical Service. This means we are allowed to be open and provide critical services and support during this time. Because of this, we are seeking support at our Shelter in Place location.
We are grateful for your willingness to serve and support during this very challenging time, and we do have volunteer needs. For your safety, and the safety of those served, we ask you answer the following questions (asked in person as well):
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (coronavirus)? Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Have you or someone in your household traveled to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days? At this time, these include China, Europe, UK/Ireland, Iran, Italy and South Korea. These may change. See the CDC’s guidelines for the most up-to-date list.
If you answered “yes’ to any questions above, we ask you not to volunteer.
